FAQ
Questions shop owners ask.
Do I need a new website?
No. Keep the site you have and add a “Book a class” button that links to your Chirpit page. It works just as well from your Instagram bio or a QR code at the register.
Does Chirpit handle my money?
Never. Customers pay on Square's own checkout and the money goes straight into your Square account, right next to your in-store sales. Refunds go back through Square too.
What about sales tax?
Square applies the tax rates you've already set up in your Square account. Chirpit doesn't decide what's taxable or store any rates.
Can I rent out my space as well as run classes?
Yes. Private events — birthdays, showers, team nights — live on the same calendar as your classes, so the room can never be double-booked. Customers can send event requests straight to your inbox.
Do my customers need an account?
No. They book as guests. If they want, they can sign in with Google or an emailed code to see all their bookings and cancel or change them.
Can I add classes on the go?
